Immerse yourself in the team culture…

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

You’ve been involved in your network marketing business for a couple months.  You’ve been to an opportunity meeting and now you’re at home watching NCIS.  “I don’t have anyone going to the meeting, why should I go?” Well, its the culture stupid!

I know, you’re smarter than everyone else.  You’ve got no one coming so it’s a waste of time for you to be there.  Besides, NCIS is far more important to your future.  Well my friend, you don’t know it yet, but you’re already toast.  You’re gone, kaput, road kill.  And it’s your own darn fault!

In an alternate universe,  the one where you’re successful…you’d be attending all the meetings and functions.  In that universe you know how critical it is to immerse yourself in the culture. There, you’ll know that no one has ever had a life changing epiphany while watching prime time TV.  You’ll know the importance of being involved.  You’ll know it’s good to be around excited, happy people who are all moving toward a common goal.  In that universe you are a strong team player and you’re supporting others with your presence.  In that universe, you aren’t selfish!

In order to get what you want out of the business, you have to give something in to it.  You have to participate.  You can’t do it by yourself, we all need to be a part of the culture to succeed in it.  If you could do it by yourself, you would have already done it.  When you’re ready to win, to really win, you’ll get committed to the process.   Part of that process is showing up.

Immerse yourself in your team’s culture, it’s part of your road to success.

MLM Video Marketing Secrets Exposed

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

A blog I ran across that I liked and thought I would share it with you here:

MLM Video Marketing Secrets Exposed.

When it comes to network marketing, if you can’t learn to do it well, you should learn to enjoy doing it badly and do a lot more of it…

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

So you want to be a network marketer but you just can’t get the hang of it.  You’ve read all the books, you’ve listened to all the cd’s and you’ve attended every meeting and seminar that you could.  Have you tried going to see someone to tell them about your business?  If you don’t know it yet, activity will create knowledge but knowledge won’t create activity…and it takes activity to build a network marketing business!

Time and time again I see people that never get started because they don’t know everything there is to know about the business yet.  “What if someone asks me a question that I don’t know the answer to?” Well maybe you could say something like, I don’t know, let me find out for you.  MLM is such a simple business.  You go share the opportunity and products with people and they tell you if they want to join you or not.

You’ve probably heard that the answer is always no until you ask.  If you are afraid to contact the people on your list because they might say no, your worst fears have already come true. Since you’re afraid to ask, they’ve already said NO! Want to over come your fear?…go see some people.  Want to learn more about the business?…go see some people.  Want to build a network marketing business?…go see some people.  Want to make a lot of money?…you probably get the idea.

GO SEE SOME PEOPLE!

Sounding like Big Al…

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Ok, I admit it, I’m going to sound exactly like Tom Big Al‘ Schreiter here.  Mostly because I stole the bulk of this material from him.  Or at the very least he was a huge inspiration for it.  So why repeat it?…cuz it’s true!  No…it’s really true!!!  What’s true?  I’m glad you asked.

“We all do network marketing anyway, why not get paid for it?”…Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter.

When was the last time you saw a good movie and recommend it to a friend, who recommended it to a friend, who recommended it to a friend.  You may have started a chain of recommendations that caused hundreds of people to see the movie, buy snacks at outrageous prices and make a lot of money for the local movie theater.  Did you get an end of the month “word of mouth” bonus check from the movie guys? If not, you just participated in network marketing, but you didn’t get paid for it.

Don’t feel bad, most of us do just that everyday. We recommend stuff we like, to our friends and coworkers, who buy it too, and we get nothing for it.  Probably not even a thank you from your friend.  This caused me to think several years ago…How can I be so stupid!  Frankly, I don’t have the stamina to tell you all the reasons for that, but hopefully you may get the point anyway.  All network marketing is…is a network of people who know each other sharing things they like with each other.

So the question is, why are you still network marketing and NOT getting paid for it?
